George C. Palaldis, Esq.

Florida born and raised in Tarpon Springs, near Tampa Bay, George graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee and earned his Juris Doctorate at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida.

After law school, George had the honor of working at the nationally recognized Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office as an Assistant Public Defender for five years.  It was there that he defended thousands of clients from arraignment to trial, accused of crimes ranging from misdemeanors, like DUI and battery, to serious felonies, such as organized fraud, drug trafficking, robbery and attempted homicide. While there, he tried more than 35 jury and non-jury trials.

George is now an associate at Gelch & Associates, P.A., applying his extensive trial experience to focusing on advocating for and defending the rights of cyclists and others who have been injured as a result of the negligence of others, as well as the wrongfully accused of crimes.

George is a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the Florida Bicycle Association, the Broward County Bar Association, and the Broward and Miami-Dade chapters of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL).

George serves on the board of his local church parish, St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Hollywood, and is president of the Hollywood Chapter of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA).

In his spare time George enjoys cycling, triathlons, traveling with his wife Irene and playing with their dog Theo. He has personally participated and fundraised for charities involved with the Tour de Broward, Bike MS Breakaway to Key Largo, and South Beach Triathlon. George has also competed in the NYC Triathlon, Miami Man Triathlon, Challenge Daytona, Escape to Miami Triathlon, Las Olas Triathlon, Tarpon Springs Rotary Triathlon, and Humana 5k.
